Popular Tango Voice, Video, and Chatting App Updated With Useful New Features

Tango, a popular application for iOS users that want to video chat, voice chat, or just chat by typing has been updated Tuesday afternoon with some useful new features. Tango is a great alternative to Apple's iMessage, FaceTime, and FaceTime Voice services.

Tuesday’s update for Tango brings the ability for Tango users to find even more Tango users nearby. The idea behind this being that you can make new friends locally and communicate with them via Tango. Obviously, this feature will want to use your location, but by denying the application location services, you can still remain private in your location if you choose to.

The update also makes it possible for users to send photos to someone while in the middle of a call without the inconvenience of having to hang up the call. In addition, the application will now let new users create their profile from the application itself so they can use it on a regular basis.

Existing users of Tango for iOS will find the update under the Updates tab of the App Store application. Alternatively, the latest version of Tango for iOS can be downloaded from this App Store link.
